Supporting our Gymnasts through Fundraising

At North Leeds Gymnastics Academy, fundraising is at the heart of what keeps our club growing. As a community, not-for-profit organisation, we rely on the amazing support of our families, gymnasts, and volunteers to keep improving what we offer.

Every event, raffle, or bake sale helps us create a better experience for our gymnasts — whether that’s through new equipment, enhanced coaching, or keeping classes accessible for everyone.

What Fundraising has Achieved

Thanks to the incredible support of parents, families, and volunteers, our fundraising has already made a real, measurable difference. Over the years, your efforts have helped us to:

Purchase a new training aid for handsprings and backflips, improving safety and skill progression.
Fund extra coaching qualifications and CPD courses to keep our team learning and growing.
Host club competitions and displays that have raised thousands for equipment and development.

To give a sense of impact:

Our Christmas Display raised an amazing £3,500, our biggest total to date! Of that, £500 went towards coach upskilling and another £500 bought the handspring/backflip trainer that’s now in regular use.
Our General Gymnastics Competition, hosted on behalf of Yorkshire Gymnastics, raised over £1,200, a fantastic achievement that went straight into club improvements.
Other local events and friendly competitions have added another £1,000+ in recent months, all helping to enhance the experience for every gymnast.

Every raffle ticket, bake sale, and display ticket truly adds up, and we couldn’t do it without your continued support.
