Welcome to NLGA

We’re a community-based, not-for-profit gymnastics club serving families in North Leeds and Wetherby for almost 20 years. Our mission is simple: to help children develop, thrive, and reach their full potential in a safe, supportive, and fun environment.

Our qualified coaches are registered with British Gymnastics and passionate about inspiring confidence, fitness, and a love of gymnastics in every child — from beginners to competitive athletes.

Whatever your child’s age or experience, we have a class that’s right for them. Our pathway makes sure every gymnast has the chance to learn, progress, and enjoy the sport in a supportive environment.

Gym Stars Early Years

Fun, structured sessions for Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 children. A great introduction to gymnastics where the focus is on building coordination, strength, and confidence through play and skill-building.

Gym Superstars Year 3+

Longer 90-minute sessions that give older children the time to develop new skills and refine techniques across floor, vault, beam, and bars. Suitable for both beginners and those with some gymnastics experience.

Our Competition Squads

For gymnasts showing commitment and ability who are ready for more structured, competition-focused training.

Gym Squad - Double

Training twice a week, gymnasts work towards regional floor and vault competitions while continuing to build strength, flexibility, and skills on all apparatus. A supportive step into the world of competitive gymnastics.

Gym Squad - Triple

Training three times a week, these squads are for our most able and committed gymnasts. Athletes may follow the British Gymnastics Grades pathway and compete at county and regional level on all four pieces of apparatus.

Gymnastics Holiday Camps

Keep your child active during the school holidays with our Easter and Summer holiday camps. Open to ages 5–11, camps are packed with gymnastics, games, and fun activities, perfect for beginners and budding gymnasts alike.
